01. To get this look your hair must be washed so, make sure you wash your locks thoroughly.
02. Pump 2-3 squirts of hair mousse or serum into your hands then massage through your hair.
03. To get Ashley's 'messy' look, leave your hair to dry naturally. To speed up the process, dry your hair for a few minutes, while drying, scrunch up your hair in your hands to get waves.
04. While your hair is still drying, use a comb to make a parting in the middle of your scalp.
05. Once your hair is dry it should have the wavy, surfer's look.
