01. Wash your hair with shampoo and conditioner and wash away the shampoo and conditioner with cold water. This will make your hair much softer and easier to style.

02. Towel dry your hair. You want a small 'messy' look so ruffle your hair in your hands as you dry it.

03. After your hair is completely dry, very roughly and quickly straighten your hair. You don't need your hair to be perfectly straight.

04. Tie your hair back with an elastic into a low pony, once again ruffling your hair in your hands to get a small 'messy' look.

05. Take a small portion of hair from the top of your head. To know you have the right amount, the amount of hair you have should end at the tip of each eyebrow. Pull that portion of hair backwards to about the center of your head and hold it back tightly, then keep it back with clips.
